About Nadia Hassan
Audiologist and Speech Therapist
I am an Audiologist and Speech Therapist having graduated at the University of Durban Westville (B.Sc. in Speech and Hearing Therapy) in 2000. I have joined the practice in 2014 after working as a pediatric audiologist in London for the past 12 years. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge with advanced pediatric hearing evaluations such as auditory brainstem responses, oto-acoustic emissions and real ear measurements. In London I worked at various community health centers and hospitals.
I am now a clinical tutor at the Audiology Department (UKZN) for the Electrophysiological and Industrial Audiology Clinic. I love working with children and am passionate about the importance of early identification of hearing loss in children. My field of interest includes pediatric hearing aid technology and auditory evoked potentials.
