About Zahra Tar–Mahomed
Speech & Language Therapist
Zahraa graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Therapy (2021) from the University of the Witwatersrand. She went on to complete her community service at Greys Hospital in 2022.
Since then, Zahra has been working in private practice working at several hospitals in the Johannesburg area. Zahraa then joined Fathima Timol, Audiologists and Speech Therapists in 2023 bringing with her experience in different working environments, excellent communication skills and a strong theoretical background.
Zahraa has a special interest in adult neurological rehabilitation, specifically progressive neurological conditions. She also enjoys working with children focusing on neonatal feeding therapy and early language intervention therapy.
