We do visits to all the Durban and Surrounding Hospitals. We offer you in – ward speech and language assessments as well as full audiological assessments. We also do in-theatre Auditory Brainstem Response testing especially for children for the diagnosis of a hearing loss.

We offer school hearing and speech screening programmes to various schools in the Durban and surrounding areas. Every child should have an annual hearing check and speech screen to ensure their optimal development as well as good academic progress. After the hearing or speech screen is completed, we give parents a report with the results and make necessary recommendations.

We visit several old age homes / retirement villages in the Durban area. This includes EdenRoc, Bill Buchanan Old Age Home, Garden Grove and Caister Lodge. We offer in – house weekly visits to their rooms as well as at the clinic.

An employer should ensure that all their employees have a hearing test done prior to employment as hearing loss caused in the work place has become a compensable disease. The Practice provides on-site hearing screening for all your employees which should be done yearly for those employees exposed to high levels of noise.
